Privacy Policy | BPSee

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BPSee handles your information when you use the BPSee application.
BPSee is designed to help users record and organize blood pressure readings while keeping personal health data under the user’s control.
BPSee does not require a user account and does not operate a server for storing users’ blood pressure records.
BPSee is a blood pressure recording application. It does not measure blood pressure, provide medical advice, diagnose medical conditions, or recommend treatments.
BPSee uses Apple’s In-App Purchase system for optional paid features.

BPSee stores only the information that you choose to save.
Depending on how you use the application, a saved record may include:

  • Systolic blood pressure
  • Diastolic blood pressure
  • Pulse (when available)
  • Measurement date and time
  • Measurement schedule
  • Measurement conditions
  • A cropped image of the blood pressure monitor display
BPSee never saves a recognized reading automatically. Every saved record is reviewed and confirmed by the user before it becomes part of the user’s history.

On-Device Recognition
Blood pressure recognition is performed entirely on your device.
Recognition does not require an Internet connection.
Images used for recognition are never uploaded to BPSee or to any remote AI service for processing.
Local Storage
Saved records are stored locally on your device.
BPSee does not operate its own cloud service for storing users’ blood pressure records.
Display Images
When a record is saved, BPSee stores a cropped image containing only the display area of the blood pressure monitor.
The purpose of this image is to provide visual confirmation of the recorded reading while minimizing unnecessary capture of the surrounding environment.

If you choose to grant permission, BPSee may read and write blood pressure data using Apple’s HealthKit framework.
HealthKit integration is optional.
You can grant, deny, or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through Apple’s Health settings.
Data stored in Apple Health is subject to Apple’s privacy practices.

If you choose to enable backup, BPSee may store your records in your Apple CloudKit Private Database, which is associated with your Apple Account.
Cloud backup is optional.
BPSee does not have access to your Apple CloudKit Private Database.

BPSee uses Apple services only when you choose to enable related features.
These services may include:

  • Apple Health (HealthKit)
  • Apple CloudKit
BPSee does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
BPSee does not operate its own analytics service.
BPSee does not collect analytics or usage data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

You remain in control of your information.
You can choose whether to:

  • Save a recognized reading
  • Synchronize with Apple Health
  • Enable iCloud backup
  • Export and share reports
BPSee never shares your blood pressure records automatically.

You may delete individual records or remove all records from BPSee at any time.
If iCloud backup is enabled, deleting records from BPSee will also remove the corresponding records from your Apple CloudKit Private Database.
If records have been synchronized with Apple Health, deleting them from BPSee does not automatically remove the corresponding records stored in Apple Health.
Apple Health records can be managed through Apple’s Health app.

BPSee is not specifically directed to children.
If you believe that personal information has been provided in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, please contact BPSee.

BPSee may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The latest version will always be published on this page together with its revision date.
