Welcome to BPSee. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
1. Medical Disclaimer (Critical Information)
BPSee is an automated health logging utility designed to digitize physical blood pressure monitor readings using local optical character recognition.
- Not a Medical Device: BPSee itself is not a diagnostic tool or a medical device. It does not measure blood pressure directly from your body.
- No Medical Advice: The classification labels (e.g., “Normal,” “Borderline,” “High”) provided in the historical records are for informational reference only, based on common standards (AHA/WHO). They do not substitute professional clinical diagnosis or consultation with a cardiologist or general practitioner.
- Review Original LCD Crops: Users are strongly encouraged to cross-verify the digital logs with the attached physical LCD screen crops to prevent algorithmic errors.
2. In-App Subscriptions & Billing
BPSee offers premium features, including CloudKit backup sync, PDF medical exports, and advanced reminders under subscription plans.
- Free Trial: Subscription plans may include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel the trial at least 24 hours before it ends, your account will be charged a recurring fee for the selected plan via your Apple ID.
- Apple ID Billing: Purchases, renewals, and cancellations are handled entirely by Apple App Store billing frameworks.
- Refunds: All transactions are subject to Apple’s App Store refund policies. Developers cannot issue direct refunds.
3. Acceptable Use & Account Integrity
- Keychain Anti-Abuse: BPSee utilizes native device Keychains to store installation markers to prevent the abuse of free trial periods. Any attempt to reverse-engineer, modify Keychain records, or hack payment states is strictly prohibited.
- Private Backup: Since we operate on a serverless model, you are solely responsible for ensuring your Apple iCloud sync is active if you wish to prevent data loss upon device restoration or uninstallation.
4. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the developers of BPSee be liable for any medical emergencies, misinterpretations of data, algorithmic misreads, device failures, or data losses resulting from the use of the application. You use the software at your own risk.
5. Modifications of Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the application following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
