Capabilities
Overview
Section titled “Overview”BPSee is designed to make home blood pressure recording easier while preserving the integrity of every record.
Its capabilities are not centered around collecting more data. Instead, they focus on helping users create reliable records that can be reviewed over time and shared with healthcare professionals when needed.
Capture Readings
Section titled “Capture Readings”BPSee helps users convert blood pressure readings into digital records without changing the blood pressure monitor they already use.
Readings can be recognized from a monitor display, reviewed, and saved as part of a long-term blood pressure history.
The goal is not to change how people measure blood pressure. The goal is to make recording easier.
Preserve Record Integrity
Section titled “Preserve Record Integrity”A blood pressure record should remain understandable and trustworthy long after it was created.
BPSee is designed to preserve the integrity of each record through user review, structured measurement information, and a visual record of the original monitor display.
Before a reading becomes part of a user’s history, the recognized values are reviewed and intentionally saved by the user.
Rather than automatically recording every measurement, BPSee allows users to decide which readings belong in their long-term record.
Build a Long-Term History
Section titled “Build a Long-Term History”Individual records become more valuable when viewed together over time.
BPSee organizes saved records into a chronological history that can be reviewed across days, months, and years.
The purpose of recording is not simply to save individual measurements, but to build a reliable history that reflects long-term patterns.
Preserve Context
Section titled “Preserve Context”A blood pressure reading is more than a set of numbers.
The circumstances surrounding a measurement often provide important context for future review.
BPSee allows each record to preserve structured measurement information, including:
- Measurement date and time
- Pulse
- Measurement schedule
- Measurement conditions
- A visual record of the monitor display
Together, these details help create records that are more complete, easier to understand, and easier to discuss during healthcare visits.
BPSee does not interpret this information. It helps preserve it.
Support Healthcare Visits
Section titled “Support Healthcare Visits”Healthcare professionals often rely on records collected outside the clinic to understand how blood pressure changes over time.
BPSee can generate reports that organize records into a format that is easier to review during healthcare visits.
Reports combine numerical readings with their corresponding display images, helping provide both structured data and supporting evidence. You can also generate a free blood pressure log PDF using our web tool anytime.
BPSee does not diagnose medical conditions or provide treatment recommendations. Medical interpretation remains the responsibility of healthcare professionals.
Work with Apple Health
Section titled “Work with Apple Health”When enabled by the user, BPSee can synchronize blood pressure records with Apple Health.
This allows users who already use Apple Health to keep blood pressure information alongside other health data while remaining in control of what is shared.
BPSee works with Apple Health as a complementary system rather than a replacement.
Protect Personal Health Data
Section titled “Protect Personal Health Data”Personal health data should remain under the user’s control.
Blood pressure recognition is performed directly on the device and does not require an Internet connection.
The visual record retained by BPSee contains only the monitor display area rather than the surrounding environment, helping preserve relevant information while reducing unnecessary exposure of personal details.
Records are stored locally on the device.
Users may choose to synchronize blood pressure data with Apple Health or back up records using Apple’s private iCloud database to help protect against accidental data loss. Read our full Privacy & Security guide to learn more.
Synchronization and backup remain optional.
Built for Long-Term Recording
Section titled “Built for Long-Term Recording”BPSee is designed for years of recording, not a single measurement.
Small daily actions become meaningful when they form a reliable long-term history.
Every capability in BPSee is intended to support that goal by reducing recording effort while preserving the integrity of each record. Compare free and paid features to see what works best for you.
Our Perspective
Section titled “Our Perspective”Recording should be easy.
Records should be trustworthy.
Context should be preserved.
Privacy should be respected.
And patients should remain in control of their own health data.
BPSee is built around these principles.
